How to Install Android O

The Beta version of Android O is out now. A range of selected android devices now can be upgraded to the Android O. It is basically a developer preview and not a stable version, therefore if you update to the latest Android O Beta, you may face some issues in its performance. And then if want downgrade your OS to Android Nougat you have to fully reset your device, thus you may lose your important data.
Here is the list of devices that are eligible for the
Android O Beta update:
1)
Pixel
2)
Pixel XL
3)
Pixel C
4)
Nexus 5X
5)
Nexus 6P
6)
Nexus Player
Right now only this few devices are eligible, if
your device is not in the list you have to wait till the stable release for
your particular handset model.
Now if you have set your mind to upgrade your
phone to Android O, follow the procedure bellow.
  • Open the internet browser of your phone (Google
    Chrome, Firefox Or default Android Webkit based browser)
  • Type android.com/beta in the URL bar
  • Sign in with your Google id and password
  • Click on “ENROLL DEVICE
  • Accept the Terms & Conditions” and click on “
    Join Beta
  • After that you will get a notification saying “Tap
    to learn more and download
    ”, click on it

Now you can see the message “Update available”,
just below that, one download button will be there

  • Click on “Download & install”, it will be
    automatically installed after the completion of download.
  • When installation get completed, there will be a
    button “Restart now to update”, click on it
  • And your phone will be restarted with latest OS.

 

 

Note: If you get this message after login, that means
your device is not eligible for the Android O Beta update:

Unfortunately, there are no eligible devices associated with this Google account.
